Seagate’s New One Touch SSD Pocket Drive Up to 2TB
Seagate has introduced a new portable storage device, the One Touch SSD, which uses a USB 3.2 Gen2 port based on an asymmetrical Type-C connector to connect to a computer.
The solid-state drive is available in three capacities: 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Buyers will be able to choose between various color options – black, silver, and blue.
The declared data transfer speed reaches 1030 MB / s. It is about compatibility with computers running Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS operating systems.
The device is enclosed in a case of increased strength: it is not afraid of falls from a height of two meters. Dimensions are 70 × 50 × 10.6 mm, weight – 74 g.
Users will have access to Seagate Toolkit software for easy backups on-demand or on a schedule. And a dedicated Android app helps you transfer files from your smartphone or tablet to your portable solid-state drive.
The Seagate One Touch SSD is priced at $ 95, $ 170, and $ 310 respectively in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB versions.
