“See You November 19 in Night City”: Cyberpunk 2077 Goes Gold
CD Projekt RED on the official microblogging Cyberpunk 2077 announced that its hotly anticipated action RPG has reached the final stage of development and went to gold.
In other words, the master disc (the one Johnny Silverhand is holding in the image below) with the final build of Cyberpunk 2077 is ready to be printed and uploaded to digital services.
As a rule, sending to print means that no transfers are waiting for the game. The developers themselves are sure of the previously announced release date: “Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold! See you on November 19 in Night City! “
Recall that the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077 has already been postponed twice: in January it became known that instead of April 16, they hoped to finish the game by September 17, and in June the release date was postponed to November 19.
For the third delay, CD Projekt RED was not ready and even forcibly transferred employees to a six-day working week for the last two pre-release months.
Recall that last weekend CD Projekt RED demonstrated the Russian version of Cyberpunk 2077. The presentation took place on October 3 as part of the IgroMir Online 2020 festival.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. In addition, the game will be available on next-generation consoles on the same day as part of the backward compatibility program.
