Shareware shooter Apex Legends surpasses 100 million players
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have announced that Apex Legends has surpassed 100 million unique players worldwide in Apex Legends Battle Royale. The free-to-play shooter has crossed an important milestone just two years after launching in February 2019.

Apex Legends currently has 16 playable heroes, three ever-changing maps, and seasonal events. Over the next few days, the developers from Respawn Entertainment promise to share new details about the project.
Apex Legends is out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch.
