As for the re-release of the third part, the remaster was named Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. The updated version is announced for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

In Japan, the modernized Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne will go on sale on October 29 of this year, and residents of other regions will have to wait until the spring of 2021.

The development of Shin Megami Tensei V was announced back in October 2017. Since then, production has moved into a full-scale phase, but new footage from the game has not been shown until recently.

Shin Megami Tensei is a Japanese RPG series that launched the Persona franchise. The original Persona, released in 1996, was considered an offshoot of Shin Megami Tensei.
