As expected, following the re-rating in Europe, the horror game Silent Hill 4: The Room from the Team Silent team and publisher Konami is once again available for purchase on PC.

The game can be purchased from the digital distribution service GOG from today. The cost of the re-released Silent Hill 4: The Room in Russia is 299 rubles ($ 10 in the West).

The GOG version of Silent Hill 4: The Room offers five text translations (there is no Russian among them) and one voice language – English. Support for cloud saves and controllers is also announced.

In technical terms, the “new” Silent Hill 4: The Room differs from the published in 2004 edition the only incompatibility with modern systems. In other words, no graphical improvements over the original release. It is not known whether other games in the series, previously released on PC (in particular, the second and third), will see the light in GOG, but Silent Hill 4: The Room is not the first re-release from Konami in recent years.

Recall that just a week ago, Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and the Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania & Contra got a second life in GOG in a similar way.

The original Silent Hill 4: The Room was released in 2004 on PC, PS2, and Xbox. The game tells the story of Henry Townshend, who is locked in his own apartment and forced to go to a creepy alternate dimension.
