It supports the NVMe 1.3 protocol
Silicon Power has been added to the list of manufacturers introducing PCIe Gen 4 SSDs. The Silicon Power US70 drive is equipped with a PCIe Gen 4×4 interface and supports the NVMe 1.3 protocol.
Silicon Power US70 SSD with PCIe Gen 4×4
Using PCIe Gen 4 allowed us to get read speeds of up to 5000 MB / s and write speeds of 4400 MB / s, that is, the US70 is an order of magnitude faster than SSDs with SATA 6 Gb / s. The drive uses a 3D NAND flash memory. To increase the speed, caching is used in SLC and DRAM. The drive implements an algorithm for balancing the load between the blocks, supports TRIM and SMART.
The M.2 2280 size drive is offered in 1 TB and 2 TB volumes. The manufacturer does not provide a resource, limiting itself to indicating the MTBF and the warranty period – 1.7 million hours and 5 years. Silicon Power also does not name prices yet.
