It can be used even without a cord, it will still count jumps

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Skipping Rope, which was announced by the company back in March of this year on the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform, went on sale in the Chinese market. The digital jump rope received a matrix screen located on one of the handles – it displays the number of jumps (and incorrect jumps are ignored), calories burned and other information. The device allows you to collect training data with high accuracy, thanks to built-in sensors. It can also provide monthly and annual reports so that you can evaluate the result over a long period.

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Skipping Rope can be used in both “wired” and “wireless” modes. Its handles are connected by a 3-meter cord with an adjustable length, but the cord can be removed (to use the rope, for example, in an apartment) – in this case, special suspensions are attached to the handles. The jump rope is charged via USB-C, and the connection to the smartphone is via Bluetooth 5.0 wireless channel. You can install the Xiaomi Sports Health app on your smartphone and use it to get recommendations, adjust exercise modes or exercise intensity levels. The price of Xiaomi Mijia Smart Skipping Rope turned out to be slightly higher than expected and amounted to 109 yuan (about $16, not $14, as previously thought).
