Smartphone Oppo A74 will be released in versions with 4G and 5G, and will receive support for fast charging at 33W
Oppo is working on preparations for the successor’s announcement to the A73 smartphone, presented more than three years ago. As expected, the new product was named Oppo A74, model number – CPH2219.
Apparently, it will not belong to wait for the announcement of the new model, as it has already received certification from several regulatory bodies, including the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Indonesian regulator (TKDN ), The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Wi-Fi Alliance and others.
Thanks to this, some details about the specifications of the smartphone became known. Several certifications have confirmed that the Oppo A74 will ship with Android 10 out of the box with what appears to be ColorOS 7 on top. The Chinese quality certification also revealed that the new model supports 33W fast charging. In comparison, the Oppo A73 LTE comes with 30W charging, while the Oppo A73 5G model supports 18W charging.
According to sources, the Oppo A74 is equipped with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixels, an 11nm Snapdragon 662 chip, a 32MP selfie camera, and a quadruple rear camera.
Apparently, the CPH2219 model works in 4G networks since the CPH2197 model was also certified with 5G technology and a 5000 mAh battery. Unlike the LTE version, it will have onboard Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11 interface out of the box.
