Smartphone Samsung Galaxy M42 5G mid-range will be presented on April 28

Earlier this week reports from Internet sources that Samsung will announce a mid-range smartphone, Galaxy M42, with support for fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks by the end of April have been fully confirmed. An announcement was posted on Amazon. Today, the smartphone will be unveiled in India on April 28, and a promo page has been created for the new product.

There are also several images on the product page that reveal the design and some of the features of the Galaxy M42 5G. The smartphone will be equipped with a display with a notch at the top for the front camera and the main camera in the form of a square-shaped block on the back.

It was also confirmed that the smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, containing eight Kryo 570 processing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz, an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator, and an X52 5G modem that provides data transfer rates up to 3.7 Gb / s.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the back of the Galaxy M42 5G, nor is it integrated into the power button located on the right side of the case. This means that a fingerprint sensor is built into the M42 5G screen, which confirms that an AMOLED panel is being used for the display.

The specifications of the M42 5G are not yet known; previous rumors state that the smartphone will have a four-module rear camera with a main 64-megapixel sensor, a 6000 mAh battery. The cost of the device can range from $ 270 to $ 335.
