The manufacturer has released new versions of watches with solar panels
Garmin has added the ability to use solar energy to charge smartwatches Fenix 6, Instinct, and Tactix Delta. To make it clearer: the manufacturer added solar panels to previously released models, which began to work longer without recharging.
Smartwatch Garmin Fenix 6, Instinct and Tactix Delta began to work longer thanks to the energy of the sun
Fenix 6 Pro Solar and Fenix 6S Pro Solar previously ran from 9 to 14 days, depending on the features used. Garmin now indicates the approximate battery life of 10.5 to 16 days, taking into account the required amount of sunlight. The watch also better monitors mountain biking, surfing, and climbing indoors. The Fenix 6S starts at $ 850 and comes in a single 47mm case, while the Fenix 6 Pro Solar starts at $ 949.
The Instinct series, which now includes Surf and Tactical Solar Edition, offers a less impressive range of features, but now provides up to 50 days on a single charge. Instinct watches start at $ 399.
The Tactix Delta Solar Edition watch complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard and offers up to 24 days of work without recharging for prices starting at $ 1,099. They have a button that erases all user data.
