This smartphone will compete with Redmi K40

A German source has published renders of the Motorola G100 smartphone – the most powerful model in the line. The hardware base as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC makes the device the first competitor to the Redmi K40. Moreover, in this case the competition will be direct, since there will not be much difference in price between these smartphones: it is expected that for Motorola G100 in Europe they will ask about 470-600 dollars, depending on the configuration.

The smartphone is made in the design familiar to Moto: this is how the Moto G 5G Plus and Moto Edge S look like. The fingerprint scanner located on the side is clearly visible, as well as the lack of the designers’ desire to reduce the top and bottom bezels of the screen as much as possible. The screen is flat and appears to be using an IPS rather than OLED. Its diagonal is 6.7 inches, the resolution is Full HD +, and the maximum frame rate is 90 Hz.

The amount of RAM – 6, 8 or 12 GB, flash memory – 128 or 256 GB. The main camera is assigned sensors with a resolution of 64, 16 and 2 megapixels, the front camera uses sensors with a resolution of 16 and 8 megapixels. The date of the official premiere of Motorola G100 has not yet been announced.
