Her announcement is expected in late July
A source that repeatedly published later confirmed information about Sony photographic equipment, reported new information about the successor to the Sony A7sII camera.
Sony A7sIII camera attributed support for 4K video in RAW format with a frame rate of 120 fps
If previously it became known that the Sony a7S III will support shooting 4K video with a frame rate of 60 fps, 10-bit presentation, and 4: 2: 2 color sampling on removable media, then new information relates to the possibility of shooting video with HDMI output. Allegedly, the camera will be able to output 4K video with a frame rate of 120 fps, 10-bit representation, and 4: 2: 2 color sampling to an external recorder. In this case, it will be possible to use the RAW format, and at the cost of reducing the resolution to FullHD, it will be possible to raise the frame frequency to 240 fps, which, in particular, will allow you to get the effect of slowing down the movement.
Externally, the camera will be similar to the Sony A7rIV model. It will be equipped with a very high-resolution electronic viewfinder – 9.44 million points. The camera will be equipped with a new type of passive cooling system. As removable media, SD cards with UHS-II support will be used. The announcement of new items is expected in late July.
