Not much is known about the plot of the upcoming film adaptation of Resident Evil. The film should be a reboot for the franchise and tell about the events of the first two parts of the series.

Previously, the cast and, accordingly, the list of the main characters were also revealed: in particular, Claire and Chris Redfield’s, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Leon Kennedy and William Birkin will appear in the film.

The new adaptation of Resident Evil has not yet received a single trailer. Nevertheless, the film already has an exact release date – the world premiere of the horror film is set for September 9, 2021.
