It will compete with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

Sony is currently working on developing a foldable phone that is expected to be called the Xperia Flip. An insider under the nickname @RGcloudS reported the first details about the model.

The Xperia Flip is expected to feature a vertical-fold design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, scheduled for release on July 26th. The inner screen is rumored to be 7 inches, 4K resolution with a 21:9 aspect ratio. A potential competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 22:9 aspect ratio screen.

Sony’s entry into the foldable phone market has generated considerable interest and speculation. This exciting development could mark the return of the Sony Compact series, which has been out of production since 2018. Small folding design can attract users.
