A total of five models
Sony has announced a new line of premium smart TVs, which includes 5 models, namely the Z8H, A8H, X9000H, X9500H, and X8000H. Models were officially unveiled in China as part of the country’s first online event. TVs have different diagonals and are aimed at different audiences.
Sony introduced new 4K and 8K TVs
Sony Z8H is the only one in the line of 8K-TV with LED-panel. Buyers are offered versions with a diagonal of 75 inches ($ 7060) and 85 inches ($ 11,295). The TV will go on sale on April 26, pre-ordered receive wireless headphones Sony WH-1000XM3 with noise reduction.
Sony A8H received an OLED panel with a resolution of 4K. The remaining three models received the usual LED-panels of the same resolution. All models received support for TRILUMOS, X-Reality Pro and X-Motion Clarity image enhancement technologies, as well as full support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Digital Panorama Sound.
The Z8H, A8H, and X9500H are equipped with the Sony X1 Ultimate processor, while the X9000H and X8000H are equipped with the Sony X1 chip. TVs are running Android 9.0 Pie with a proprietary shell Sony.
The 55-, 65- and 75-inch versions of the X9500H will be priced at $ 1,129, 1,835, and 2,965, respectively. The 75- and 85-inch versions of the X8000H will cost $ 1,412 and $ 2,541, respectively.
