The compact flagship Sony Xperia 5 V for 1000 euros cannot boast of high-quality cameras, at least according to DxOMark tests.

The smartphone received only 118 points. The video quality received the same rating, but for photos, the device was given 124 points. Overall, the result is mediocre, and even bad for a 2023 flagship. This is the 69th place in the source rating.

It’s also roughly on par with the iPhone 12 and Galaxy S22. Interestingly, the Sony Xperia 5 IV earned 1 point more last year.

The authors note that autofocus does not work very well, the slow change in white balance in video, a strong orange tint in video in low light, and so on.
