Sony Xperia: this is when and which smartphones will receive Android 11

Sony has announced the list of smartphones in the Xperia range that will be updated to Android 11. We will start from Xperia 1 II, the flagship that we reviewed last summer, and which will start receiving the latest version of the green robot as early as this month.

The rollout will then continue with Xperia 5 II and Xperia 10 II: for both, Sony plans to launch the release of Android 11 starting from the end of January 2021. The list is closed by Xperia 1 and Xperia 5, whose official distribution will start from the following month of February.

In addition to the various features introduced by Google with Android 11, Sony will include on the Xperia 1 II the recording of slow-motion movies in 4K HDR resolution at 120 frames per second.
