Sparkling Night City, Bar & Robots: New 4K Ray-traced Cyberpunk 2077 Screenshots

Yesterday, September 1, at the presentation of GeForce RTX 30 series video cards, NVIDIA and CD Projekt RED showed a fresh trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. The video is dedicated to the technical features of the PC version, including ray tracing. You can also see this technology in action in the new screenshots that the developers have posted on the Web.

4K images show the locations and characters of Cyberpunk 2077: Knight City streets hung with glowing signs and advertising posters, two robots, an entrance to an underground complex, a bar, and, most likely, a catering establishment.

 

The published screenshots allow you to evaluate how lighting from different sources works, to see realistic shadows and reflections on smooth surfaces.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. The game will later appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia. Recently, developers have denied rumors that the project will require 200 GB of free hard disk space.
