Spectacular slasher Demon Skin from the domestic studio will be released on Steam on April 13
The Buka publishing house and the domestic studio Ludus Future announced the Demon Skin slasher platformer’s release on April 13th. The game will also appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this year.
Demon Skin takes place in a brutal and harsh world of dark fantasy. The project combines the true spirit of Souls games, unique combat mechanics, RPG elements, and features of fighting games and platformers.
The darkness in the world of Demon Skin has penetrated even the most remote corners, and only Wanderers can resist it – members of a powerful order who fight against Evil and possess superhuman strength. One of them witnesses a sinister ritual to restore a powerful ancient artifact. Trying to interrupt the ceremony, the hero falls into a stream of released energy and turns into a demon. To regain its former appearance, the protagonist will have to find the stolen artifact and defeat many enemies along the way.
The developers promise gloomy landscapes in the spirit of dark fantasy: from icy wastelands and deep dungeons to twilight forests and the undead’s abode. The cruel world lives its own life, but the creatures inhabiting it are not always hostile. The hero will meet not only opponents but also powerful allies and characters who are ready to attack everyone.
There are dozens of types of opponents, the battle with each of which requires a special approach and an extensive arsenal to destroy monsters. The player has at his disposal more than 30 types of blunt and slashing weapons, each of which is effective in battle with certain opponents. Several types of ancient artifact weapons are hidden in secret corners of the game world. You can also destroy enemies with your bare hands. Collected crystal shards will allow you to become even stronger, overgrown with bone armor, and take the form of a demon.
The accumulated experience allows you to open new bundles of blows and improve health, stamina, and attack power. The versatile combat system will allow you to hone your skills, mastering various stances for lightning-fast parrying attacks and inflicting maximum damage with spectacular finishing moves. The stamina level and other indicators of the character’s physical condition directly affect the battle outcome.
