Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition is an improved edition of the original game. This version was originally released on PlayStation 5 on November 26 in the PlayStation Store and in retail on December 1. The Enhanced Edition features an orchestral soundtrack from 14 composers, 4K impeccable 60fps graphics, and two new protagonist skins that are exclusive to each platform. Spirit of the North itself is a solo third-person adventure. The game takes place in a world inspired by Icelandic landscapes: the story is based on Scandinavian folklore, and the plot is presented without dialogue or recorded scenes. It is assumed that during the passage and solving the puzzles, you yourself will understand how the fate of the protagonist is connected with the fox spirit – the guardian of the Northern Lights – and also reveal the secret of the lost ancient civilization.

The original Spirit of the North went on sale for PlayStation 4 in November 2019, and for PC and Nintendo Switch in May 2020.
