Huawei has quite quickly begun to expand the list of smartphones that can already install the final stable version of the proprietary shell EMUI 10.1 based on the Android 10 operating system.
Recall that EMUI 10.1 firmware was introduced along with the Huawei P40 line at the end of March. Yesterday, a stable version of the new proprietary software became available to users of Huawei P30, P30 Pro and MatePad Pro in China.
Now it was announced that the final stable version of EMUI 10.1 has become available for several more smartphone models, including Huawei Nova 6, Huawei Nova 6 5G, Huawei Nova 6 SE. In addition, the Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro smartphones have received the final stable version of Magic UI 3.1, which is the renamed EMUI 10.1 for Honor smartphones.
Among the features of the new firmware, it is worth highlighting the control panel for several devices (Multi-device control centre), which allows you to quickly connect to other devices and control household appliances. Also appeared the application for video calls Huawei MeeTime, the updated application Huawei Video, the voice assistant Huawei Celia, which debuted in the Huawei P40, new design styles of the always-on display and other innovations.
So far, the update is being distributed in China, but global versions of firmware will not long in coming.
