The editor-in-chief of the Cinelinx portal, Jordan Maison, in his microblog drew attention to the recent message of the composer of Star Wars: Republic Commando Jesse Harlin.

The aforementioned tweet Harlin left in his microblog on September 27, but Mason’s attention, and after him, interested players and the media, was attracted by the composer’s announcement only now.

In his address, Harlin mentioned that he re-recorded the theme song for Vode An from Star Wars: Republic Commando for an unnamed project in the Star Wars universe, and promised to share the details soon.

“This summer I actually got to go back to Vode An for a Star Wars project that I wrote music for. It was fun to dust off [the track] after 15 years (!!!), “ Harlin said at the time.

In the comments to Mason’s post, users expressed the hope that by “Star Wars Project” Harlin meant an updated version or even a remake of Star Wars: Republic Commando.

However, Harlin’s composition can also be useful to the creators of the series “The Mandalorian”, the second season of which began on October 30 this year and will end on December 18.

Star Wars: Republic Commando is a tactical first-person shooter set in the famous universe. The game was released in March 2005 for PC and Xbox. Both versions earned 78 points out of 100 on Metacritic.
