State Transport Leasing Company notified carriers in advance

The State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) commented on information from the Federal Air Transport Agency about the risks of arrest of some aircraft during international flights. State Transport Leasing Company stated that the company notified its counterparties (airlines) about these risks in advance.

“The company in advance sent air carriers long-term leasing agreements with a Russian legal entity – JSC State Transport Leasing Company. Contractors are notified of the risks of using the fleet outside the Russian legal framework. We expect new contracts to be concluded as soon as possible to ensure the safe operation of aircraft on all available routes,” the State Transport Leasing Company press service said.

The risks of ships being arrested when flying abroad are because airlines continue to fly based on contracts with GTLK Europe, which is currently in the process of liquidation.
