Recall, according to the idea of Capcom, players are given only 60 minutes to explore and clear the sections of the village and the castle of Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village available in the trial edition.

A Steam user under the pseudonym Leaves in a topic dedicated to this issue has published instructions on how you can spend more time in the new demo version of Resident Evil Village than you should.

To implement a life hack, players will need the Steam Achievement Manager (SAM), an amateur utility used to manipulate achievements. In this case, for the time spent in the demo.

The user needs to: disable cloud saves in the properties of Resident Evil Village, delete local game files and, by running SAM, reset all trophies, and with them, the timer.

The process of restarting the countdown using Steam Achievement Manager takes no more than a minute, but if desired, gamers can also use the ways to stop the timer: using a DLL file or a trainer.

The demo will be available until May 10 of this year on all Resident Evil Village target platforms – PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Google Stadia. The game itself will be released on May 7th.
