Steam version of the Huntdown retro shooter will be released on May 12 with arcade mode and online co-op

As promised, on April 7, the developers of the co-op retro shooter Huntdown from the Easy Trigger Games studio announced the release date of the game on Steam and shared the details of the upcoming release.

There was no surprise: Huntdown will go on sale for the Valve digital distribution service on May 12 of this year – exactly 12 months after the premiere of the project in the Epic Games Store.

“We would like to thank everyone for your support and comments on our previous announcement. We are incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful community. I can’t wait to bring you the latest and greatest version of Huntdown, ”said the authors.

As for the promised new features, the Steam version will boast collectible cards, an achievement system, an online co-op (thanks to Steam Remote Play), and a temporarily exclusive arcade mode.

The latter will be available exclusively on Steam for the “first few weeks” (then it will appear on other systems) and will offer to compete with other players for a place at the top of the international leaderboard.

Finally, the developers noted the importance of gaming for rallying people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, thanked the players for their patience, and expressed their hope “to see you on the rain-drenched, gloomy streets of Huntdown

Huntdown is currently available on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and will be available on iOS and Android mobile devices by the end of this year.
