In second place was the co-op puzzle adventure It Takes Two by Hazelight, the creator of A Way Out. The game, released on March 26th, was only the seventh last week. It is available not only on PC but also on two generations of PlayStation and Xbox. Both the media and the players highly appreciated the adventure: the Metacritic rating is 86-90 / 100. More than 95% of reviews in the Valve store are positive (in total, more than six thousand responses were left).

In third place is the new, massive Repentance expansion to The Binding of Isaac. DLC added an alternate path with a new ending, over a hundred new opponents, over 25 bosses, over 130 items, and other content. 75% of reviews on Steam are positive (over three thousand total). Many were unhappy with the balance sheet changes.

Valheim lost three positions at once – she is fourth. Iron Gate’s Early Access Survival Simulator topped the charts for eight straight weeks.

Another novelty, the strategy game Evil Genius 2: World Domination from Rebellion, debuted in seventh place. It was rated ambiguously: the average score on Metacritic is 77/100, and positive reviews on Steam are only 67% (in total, the game received more than three thousand reviews). Among the common complaints is the lack of interesting features from the first part, controversial design solutions, prolonged gameplay, technical problems.

The Valve Index VR headset dropped out of the top three and ranked fifth. Next – Horizon Zero Dawn  Complete Edition, which returned to the top ten thanks to a discount (it is valid until April 12 ). A similar promotion (in this case, dedicated to the anniversary of the game) helped get into the top 10 sets of virtual currency for The Elder Scrolls Online, which took eighth place. DLC Operation Broken Fang for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive dropped to the ninth position, while Cyberpunk 2077, which received its second major patch last week, remained in tenth.

A hybrid of shoot ’em up and an erotic game Subverse, which started from the second line, left the top ten.
