Steel Rats arcade racing game available for free on Steam

Developers from Tate Multimedia decided to please Steam users with a free giveaway of their racing arcade Steel Rats. Anyone can follow the link and add a project to the library. The promotion will last until April 4, 20:00 Moscow time.

The Steel Rats synopsis reads: “Join the Steel Rats, and a biker gang vowed to defend their city from alien garbage bots. Crush hordes of enemies by switching between four unique characters on super-powerful motorcycles equipped with circular saws. Travel through retro-futuristic landscapes inspired by the 1940s USA. Steel Rats features motorcycle stunts, combat stages with hand-to-hand combat and gunfights, a “realistic physics model,” and many levels with collectible items. The project includes four main characters from the “Steel Rats” gang with their own unique abilities. Steel Rats received 449 reviews on Steam, of which only 59% were positive. The game is criticized for its technical performance, primitive plot, and individual gameplay solutions.
