Strange, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max did not receive the best screen on the market

Previously, new iPhones always took first place

It’s quite strange, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max did not receive the title of a smartphone with the best screen on the market, according to the DxOMark laboratory.

Usually, with the release of each new Apple smartphone, it was awarded the maximum score and placed at the top of the ranking, but not this time. The DxOMark laboratory announced the screen rating of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which took fourth place in the screen rating with 149 points.

Strange, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max did not receive the best screen on the market

It turned out that the iPhone 15 Pro Max screen score was the same as the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which received 149 points last year and topped the corresponding rating. DxOMark said the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s screen performance is very similar to that of the previous generation smartphone, and it can demonstrate good screen readability in a variety of lighting conditions, including bright sunlight.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has very few frame drops during video playback and has significantly improved the artifact issue. It’s great for watching HDR videos indoors and outdoors.

DxOMark also noted that the color reproduction of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is slightly saturated. When viewed in high brightness mode, skin color in portraits is not natural enough.

The first three places are occupied by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Google Pixel Fold, and Honor Magic5 Pro.

We also wrote that the problem of overheating the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max is being discussed more and more often. Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will have to slow down the A17 Pro chip.
