As the companies announced, Streets of Rage 4 has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide to date. It took the project a little over four months to get to this amount.

The developers decided to celebrate the significant result by releasing a large-scale patch: the patch brings about 80 fixes, including bug fixes and player-tested balance changes (for example, Axel and Cherry’s strengthening).

Among other things, we have improved stability and reduced latency in online mode, made gameplay improvements at all levels, and updated the online statistics interface.

According to Cyrille Imbert, CEO of Dotemu, “Many of the fixes in the patch are intended to increase replayability for those who have been with us from the beginning

Amber also added that there are other patches in the works, details of which will be shared with Dotemu “soon”. In addition, some new content is being prepared for Streets of Rage 4.

Streets of Rage 4 was released on April 30 this year on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The old school action game was also warmly received by journalists: on Metacritic, the project has from 82 to 86 points.
