BYD is one of the renowned electric vehicle manufacturers in China. The company has many electric (or hybrid) models in its assortment, and soon the new product shown in these pictures – BYD R2 will go into the series. The name is modest, but the design is very striking. Of course, if you look closely, you can find modern Honda features (front) and Porsche (rear), but overall, the R2 looks very interesting.

In the exterior, attention is drawn to the huge gull-wing doors – here; you can’t do without associations with the legendary Mercedes 300SL. But in terms of dynamics, such a coupe is quite comparable to the Ferrari LaFerrari – 2.9 s to 100 km / h. Moreover, it cannot be said that the characteristics of the R2 power plant look prohibitive.
