They will be integrated into production chains
Small industrial enterprises of the Khabarovsk Territory will be integrated into production chains for the production of aircraft, as announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region, Maria Avilova.
“This is the ambitious task that the government of the Khabarovsk Territory sets for itself. Involvement and localization of our enterprises that operate in the Khabarovsk Territory in general processes and the creation of a unified production and technological process. The scale here is enormous because even a Superjet 100 aircraft requires a huge number of cooperative connections, equipment with seats, and other elements. The possibilities are endless, including the business jet,” Avilova said.
Superjet 100, Baikal, and a new business jet will help gather enterprises in the Khabarovsk Territory
The aircraft manufacturing industry in the Khabarovsk Territory is represented by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yu.A. Gagarin (KnAAZ) and the production center of a branch of the Yakovlev Corporation (formerly the Irkut Corporation). They are part of the United Aircraft Corporation.
KnAAZ produces modern military aircraft for the Russian Ministry of Defense, including Su-35 and Su-57 fighters. In addition, together with the production center of a branch of the Yakovlev Corporation, a civil aircraft manufacturing program is being developed to produce the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
Work on localizing production is planned to be launched for the production of the Baikal light aircraft, which they plan to assemble in Komsomolsk. The possibilities of involving regional technology companies in the production of door systems for aircraft are also being discussed.
