The latest update for Windows 10 21H2 will be released on June 13
Microsoft has informed customers that support for Windows 10 21H2 will end next month.
Support for Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Pro Education, and Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 21H2 will end on June 13, 2023. These versions will no longer receive security updates after June 13, 2023. Customers who contact Microsoft Support after this date will be asked to upgrade their device to the latest version of Windows 10 or upgrade to Windows 11 to retain support.
Support for Windows 10 21H2 is ending. Microsoft will update devices itself
The June 2023 security update will be the last update for these versions. As such, PCs running Windows 10 21H2 will no longer receive monthly updates of any kind, including security updates, after June.
But even if you don’t update your PC yourself, Microsoft will do it for you: “Windows Update will automatically initiate feature updates for Windows 10 consumer devices and unmanaged business devices for several months after the end of service. This ensures that your device is supported and receives monthly updates that are critical to the safety and health of the ecosystem. For these devices, you will be able to choose a convenient time to reboot the device and complete the update.”
