Steam Weekly Chart: It Takes Two Reaches Number One, Next Stellaris Expansion

Valve has released a list of the top 10 top-grossing games on Steam last week (April 12-18). Co-op adventure It Takes Two from Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts ranked first, while Outriders, a two-week leading shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix, dropped to fifth.

In the week of release (the release took place on March 26), It Takes Two reached only the seventh position, but it was already occupying second place by the end of the next week. She was also there from 5 to 11 April. The game retains a high user rating: the number of reviews has approached 14 thousand, while the positive one is still 95%.

The Nemesis addition to the global space strategy Stellaris debuted in second place. The DLC was released on April 15 and added espionage tools and the ability to resolve the galactic crisis by choosing the role of the guardian or destroying all living things. The add-on has “mixed” user reviews (it was rated positively only in half of the reviews, exceeding 600). Many complained about the spoiled balance of the economy, unfinished new mechanics, low-quality ship models and called to postpone the purchase until the patches were released. Despite this, online games have grown significantly: over the past 24 hours, it has reached 54,980 people (the maximum for the entire time – 68,517 – was recorded at the start, in May 2016).

Outriders, which dropped to number five, continue to receive mixed reviews. The total number of reviews exceeded 28 thousand, positive – still 65%. Simultaneously, the number of concurrent players during the last week remained approximately the same (the maximum for the last day – 62,174). Recently, users began to complain about huge reports of problems, the volume of which can be tens of gigabytes, and serious bugs that arose after the release of patches.

The Valve Index VR headset has moved from position eighth to position three. The action about sea pirates Sea of ​​Thieves, in which the second season started recently, remained in the fourth. The Scandinavian sandbox Valheim has moved up one place – now it is sixth. The seventh addition to Monster Hunter: World, Iceborn, participates in the Capcom sale (it will end at 20:00 Moscow time on April 20). Eighth place went to the survival simulator The Forest, which can be bought at 60% cheaper until today. After Forza Horizon 4 Discount Expireslost six positions and ended up in ninth. Closing the top ten is the factory construction simulator Satisfactory, which received its fourth content update on April 13.
