Tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will receive a MediaTek processor
Popular blogger Evan Blass, also known as @Evleaks, has posted a render of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite on the Voice platform, which Samsung is expected to announce next quarter.
It is alleged that the new product will receive a display measuring 8.4 inches diagonally. The front camera will be located on one of the frames. On the side of the case, you can see the physical control buttons.
The computing load will allegedly fall on the MediaTek Helio P22T processor. The chip contains eight ARM Cortex-A53 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator. The platform provides support for Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a / b / g / n / ac) wireless and 4G / LTE cellular communications.
It is said about 3 GB of RAM and a single rear camera without a flash. A rechargeable battery will provide power with a capacity of 5100 mAh.
Thus, Samsung is preparing a relatively inexpensive tablet that is suitable for surfing the Internet and entertainment during the pandemic. The official presentation of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, according to available information, will take place in June.
Canalys estimates that 160.6 million tablets were shipped globally last year. Against the background of self-isolation of citizens, remote work, and distance learning, the demand for these gadgets has jumped by 28% compared to 2019.
