Lens images appeared in late March
Last fall, Tamron announced the development of a “compact, lightweight and fast telephoto lens” 70-180mm F / 2.8 Di III VDX (Model A056). This is the third model of a series of full-frame high-speed zooms with Sony E mount. According to the source, this lens will be presented next week.
Images of the lens appeared in late March. It is expected that the lens will be significantly cheaper than the Sony FE 70-200mm f / 2.8 GM OSS. It will be compact (length – only 149 mm) and light (815 g). Like all other Tamron lenses for full-frame mirrorless cameras, it will be designed for filters with a diameter of 67 mm. It is known that the lens will be protected from dust and splashes, and the minimum focusing distance will be 85 cm. No price data yet.
