The game features an unusual visual style and tells a stubborn ten-year-old girl Emma and the adorable teddy bear Fenton. They are trying to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Thomas Kane, the only son of the famous illusionist family.

The heroes will have to make their way through difficult levels inside the Victorian creepy castle. They find themselves and overcome over forty puzzles and obstacles to solve the mystery. Tandem: a Tale of Shadows offers an unusual 2D puzzle mechanic inspired by the work of Jules Verne, Conan Doyle, and Tim Burton.

Tandem: A Tale of Shadows promises five different Victorian-style worlds. Users will have to alternate the passage with a top view, playing as Emma, and a side view when passing Fenton. The girl can use the flashlight to create shadows that the teddy bear can cross. Interesting obstacles and well-thought-out gameplay mechanics will make you constantly stay alert.

Players will face mechanical toy enemies and bosses in all dimensions. Since Emma cannot attack, she will have to rack her brains to move forward. You should click on buttons and drag objects to create shadows; use alarms and traps to your advantage – a lot of interactive elements available for experiments are promised.

The developers promise an interesting storyline and a lot of funny, creative, and challenging videos. Additional plot information about the disappearance of Thomas Kane can be found in hidden rooms, to access which will require keys.
