Terraria developer canceled release in Stadia due to blocking of his accounts on Google platforms

Re-Logic founder Andrew Spinks has canceled the release of Terraria on the streaming service Stadia due to the blocking of his accounts on Google services. He talked about it on Twitter. The corporation blocked them for an unknown reason more than three weeks ago.

The developer said that his accounts were disabled without explanation. At the same time, according to him, he spent  “thousands of dollars” on applications during the use of Google Play. All of his documents, access to YouTube, and Gmail, which he had been using for over 15 years, were also gone.

“I have not done anything to violate the user agreement, so I take this as a decision to burn all the bridges that connected us. Consider that you have succeeded. Terraria has been canceled in Stadia. My company will no longer support any of your platforms in the future. I will not work with a corporation that does not value its customers and partners so much, ”said Spinks.

Terraria’s developer accounts were blocked at the end of January. He tried to contact Google but was unsuccessful. The studio has probably not received a response from the company until now.

Previously, Google refused to develop exclusives for Stadia. The company will close all in-house studios and instead focus on promoting projects from third-party developers and publishers.
