Terraria Sandbox Adventure Coming To Google Stadia Next Week

It looks like the story of the transfer of the adventure sandbox Terraria from the American studio Re-Logic to Google Stadia is nearing completion: the version of the game for this platform has a clear release date.

As it became known thanks to the official microblogging of the cloud service Google, Terraria will go on sale for Google Stadia next week – March 18 of this year.

“Get ready to let your imagination run wild! The whole world will be your canvas when Terraria arrives at [Google] Stadia on March 18th, ” reads the announcement from the service representatives.

Neither Google nor the Re-Logic studio provided any illustrative material, except for the famous concept art of Terraria or any details of the upcoming release.

As for the transfer, it might not have taken place: in January, Google blocked the accounts of the founder of Re-Logic, Andrew Spinks, without explanation, and he, in response to the company’s silence, threatened to cancel the port.

The tale ended up with a happy ending: Spinks’ accounts were restored, and work on the publication for Google Stadia continued. The version of Terraria for the cloud service is based on the latest build (DR Studios 1.4.0.5).

Terraria was released in May 2011 for PC. Since then, the game has visited PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and Switch and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
