The long-awaited function still works in the USA, and by the end of the year – in all countries
The next update of the Tesla autopilot system brought these cars the long-awaited function of an automatic stop at the red light of the traffic light and before the Stop sign. So far this only works in the USA, but by the end of the year, all Tesla in all countries will stop at traffic lights themselves.

How this works is shown in the video above in time-lapse format. If during the approach to the intersection the green changes to yellow, the car will stop. It may not stop, but only if it is impossible to do it (for example, there will be no time for braking, as often happens in real life). If the driver wants to drive in red, then a car with the autopilot and traffic light tracking function activated will not let him do it.
