Tesla has raised prices for the cheapest and most expensive electric vehicles

Tesla has updated its website’s online configurator, raising prices for the cheapest and most expensive electric vehicles. Unlike most automakers who sell cars through dealerships, which ultimately determine their price, Tesla sells through its own distribution system, offering uniform prices for cars.

However, this does not prevent her from periodically changing prices, especially in the United States. For example, just 3 weeks ago, Tesla lowered prices for Model 3 and Model Y and has now brought them back again.

Prices for Model 3 in various trim levels:

  • Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus – $ 37 490 (previous price – $ 36 990).
  • Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD – $ 46,990 (former $ 46,490).
  • Tesla Model 3 Performance – $ 55,990 (unchanged price)

Prices for the Model S remained largely unchanged in January this year following an updated version of the flagship sedan. Still, now the Model S Plaid Plus has received a significant price increase of $ 10,000. Current prices for the Model S in various trim levels are:

  • Tesla Model S Long Range AWD – $ 79,990 (unchanged)
  • Tesla Model S Plaid – $ 119,990 (unchanged)
  • Tesla Model S Plaid + – $ 149,990 (was $ 139,990).

Recall that the Model S became more expensive when Tesla began taking orders for a new car version. The Model S Performance has become Plaid, and Tesla has unveiled the new Plaid +, which will go into series production before the end of this year.
