Thanks to the modification in Skyrim, it will be possible to become the owner of a cat, but not everything is so simple

Blogger and modder Darkfox127 published on his YouTube channel an announcement trailer for A Cat’s Life – his modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and its re-release.

Since the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, modders have repeatedly tried to integrate cats into the game. The creation of Darkfox127 is intended to give users the opportunity to shelter a mustachioed creature, and under certain conditions, not even one.

After installing A Cat’s Life, cats will begin to roam all the main cities of the game – each with its own attitude towards strangers. Homeless animals can be “bribed” (for example, with treats).

An alternative strategy is to get yourself a pet from one of two competing pet stores. Darkfox127 promises that the process will include new characters and voiced dialogue.

In total, in A Cat’s Life, you can take up to five pets. The author of the modification also hinted that the attitude of the characters towards the owner of cats would depend on his race – the Khajiit, for example, would be considered a slave owner.

If desired, domesticated cats can also include needs – in this case, the animal will have to be looked after and fed. A negligent owner may well lose a mustachioed pet.

Development of A Cat’s Life began back in 2018 but was temporarily abandoned by its creator. Now the modification has a clear release date – it will be possible to shelter a cat in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on August 1.
