Firaxis Games released a video in which it appealed to fans and announced an annual subscription for Civilization VI. According to the developers, they like the way the game looks after two big additions, but they want to check what else you can do with it.
New Frontier Pass add-ons will be released throughout the year. Among them are new civilizations (for example, Mayans and the people of Greater Colombia ), leaders, cities and game modes. The latter will include the Apocalypse mode.
The developers noted that some content will require the presence of past additions – Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm. In addition, free updates available to all users will be released for the game.
Supplements will begin to be released on May 21 – once every two months. They will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. The price of the entire pass is $ 39.99 (there is no official price in rubles yet), but packs can be purchased separately.
Firaxis also stated that it will monitor how fans accept one or another update in order to understand in which direction to develop the game further.
