As it became known, The Elder Scrolls Online will appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S on June 8 this year. Earlier it was reported that for owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One, the upgrade to the version for new consoles would be free.

On the occasion of the announcement, a gameplay trailer was presented, dedicated to the main features of The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced (this is the name of the edition for PS5, Xbox Series X, and S).

They promise two modes of operation (“Performance” and “Quality”), support for 60 frames / s and high-resolution textures, increased rendering distance, graphics enhancements (anti-aliasing, reflections, shadows), and faster loading.

The free trial period has already begun and will last until April 13 (the exact end time is 17:00 Moscow time) on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Console owners will need a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to play.

As part of the promotion, users will get access to the basic version of The Elder Scrolls Online (four classes, 23 areas, and “many” quests) and the location “Vvardenfell” from the chapter “Morrowind.”

The Elder Scrolls Online is currently preparing for the release of the Blackwood expansion. The expansion will be released on June 1 this year on PC, and on June 8 will premiere on consoles.
