For some reason, Huawei decided to announce the Mate 60 line models separately, and not all at once. Now the top version of the Mate 60 Pro+ is presented.
Of course, the device is in many ways similar to the Mate 60 Pro. There is the same design, the same triple cutout in the screen for the camera and sensors, the same 120 Hz AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.82 inches with a resolution of 2720 × 1260 pixels, the same 5000 mAh battery with 88-watt charging and the same SoC Kirin 9000s, which made a lot of noise. Even the dimensions are completely identical: 164 × 79 × 8.1 mm with a weight of 225 g.
There are not many differences. For example, the new version offers only 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of flash memory. But the camera is more important.
The best that Huawei has to offer right now.
The camera here is almost completely different. The resolution of the main sensor is not 50 megapixels, but 48 megapixels, while both optical stabilization and variable aperture are preserved. Unfortunately, the sensor model is still unknown.
The ultra-wide-angle camera has a resolution of 40 MP versus 12 MP for the Mate 60 Pro. But the periscope “telephoto” was not changed. This is the same sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels and optical stabilization.
Of course, water protection (IP68), 5G support, and satellite communications are preserved. The price of this version has not yet been announced.
