In Europe, Mi 11 Ultra is more expensive than in China, and we are not entitled to Mi 11 Pro at all
Literally, on the eve of today’s large-scale presentation of Xiaomi, a rumor appeared that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is not a model for the European market, and only Mi 11 Ultra will be sold here. Well, the rumor was fully confirmed: the global announcement did without the Mi 11 Pro. But now we know the cost of the Mi 11 Ultra – and it is impressive.
The best Xiaomi camera phone goes to Europe. Presented “director’s cut” Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
If in China for the base Mi 11 Ultra with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory they ask for the equivalent of $ 915, then in Europe the only configuration of this model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is estimated … at $ 1400. For comparison, a similar configuration in China costs $ 990. In general, there is nothing new in such a breakdown: in Europe, smartphones are always more expensive than in China, but this does not make it easier for Europeans.
Another feature is that the European Mi 11 Ultra is for some reason called the “director’s cut”. Apparently, the company wants to focus on the large (almost inch) camera sensor and the ability to record video from three modules of the main camera of the smartphone at the same time.
