The changes in the front panel of the iPhone 13 have been confirmed: the “bangs” will become smaller, and the speaker will move higher
Even though Apple’s iPhone 13 smartphones will be presented only six months later, rumors about their features have been floating around the web for some time. The new smartphones are expected to get a smaller notch in the screen, and a fresh leak confirms this.
Greek service center iRepair has provided MacRumors with a photo of the front glass panels for the iPhone 13 series. The picture shows the glass for smartphones in all three sizes, which are rumored to be available: 5.4, 6.1, and 6.7 inches. … Judging by the photo, it was possible to reduce the dimensions of the cutout in the display due to the transfer of the earpiece closer to the upper edge of the front panel. Earlier, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the notch for the True Depth system in the iPhone 13 would be reduced, but he did not mention the earpiece’s transfer.
As a reminder, the iPhone display cutout’s design and dimensions have not changed since its introduction in the iPhone X launched in 2017. Simultaneously, according to earlier rumors, at least one of the new iPhones will receive a dotted round notch for the front camera and a fingerprint scanner built into the display. The iPhone SE Plus, which Apple expected to be announced this year, is likely to have these features.
