The collapse in the digital camera market continues

Sales of digital cameras of all categories for the year decreased from 1,519,378 units to 551,377 units, that is, up to 36.3% compared with a year ago. Recall that in March sales amounted to 47.8% of the level a year ago.

In April of this year, 299,479 units were sold with interchangeable lens cameras. This is slightly higher than in March, but only 36.3% of the value recorded in April 2019, when 825,433 lenses were sold.

In April, 251,898 units were sold with non-replaceable lens cameras, which is 36.3% a year ago.
