The Cougar Phontum Pro gaming headset has finally become a serial product

The Phantom Pro model is based on the Phantom headset and differs from it, in particular, by the built-in digital-to-analog converter. It is activated when connected via USB. The power supplied in this case via USB is also used for the ARGB backlight built into the cups. Alternatively, a 3.5 mm diameter TRRS 4-pin connector is available.

The headphones have emitters with a diameter of 53 mm. The C-Media Xear3D digital signal processor simulates virtual surround sound in 7.1 formats. The claimed range of reproduced frequencies is 20-20 000 Hz; sensitivity is 98 ± 3 dB, impedance is 32 Ohms. Two pairs of ear pads can be attributed to the package bundle: one is designed for games, the other manufacturer recommends wearing when the headset is used outdoors with a mobile device. The detachable microphone has an active noise reduction function, a frequency response of 100-10,000 Hz, and a sensitivity of -47 ± 3 dB. The manufacturer does not name the price of the novelty.
