The creators of Halo Infinite again had to deny rumors about the abandonment of the version for Xbox One

Community Manager 343 Industries John Junyszek in his microblog again commented on the possible cancellation of the version of the sci-fi shooter Halo Infinite for Xbox One.

Recall, initially, the information that the studio was thinking about cancelling the release of Halo Infinite on the console of the past generation of Microsoft, was spread by the user of the forum ResetEra under the pseudonym sponger.

Then Unizhek already rejected such assumptions, but now he had to do it again: the art director of the Halo Infinite interface Chad Mirshak (Chad Mirshak) did not indicate Xbox One in the list of target platforms for the game on his resume.

The user Unizhek replied to had already deleted their post, but the tweet from the 343 Industries community manager persisted: “No. [Halo Infinite on Xbox One has not been cancelled]. Please let me enjoy the holidays

This time, Unizhek’s message was laconic, but in the past, the developer assured that 343 Industries employees are doing their best to make Halo Infinite “look as good as possible on every system

As such, Halo Infinite is still in development for PC (Steam, Windows 10), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. At launch, the game will also be part of the Xbox Game Pass library.

As for the release date, Halo Infinite was supposed to go on sale in November, but the release was delayed until 2021. In a recent report, 343 Industries confirmed that the project should not be expected until autumn.
