The creators of Oddworld: Soulstorm showed a new gameplay trailer and promised a quick release date

Oddworld Inhabitants has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its action-adventure platformer Oddworld: Soulstorm as part of the Epic Games Store yesterday’s spring show.

The published video lasts a little over a minute. It offers to familiarize yourself with cutting gameplay episodes to the accompaniment of a voiceover telling about the possibilities available to Abe.

On the way to “freedom and truth,” the long-suffering Budokan will have to deal with the creation of homemade weapons, save and use relatives for his own purposes, as well as face a variety of enemies.

In timed to the premiere of the new trailer for Oddworld: Soulstorm, publication in the official microblogging of the series, Oddworld Inhabitants co-founder Lorne Lanning commented on the game’s production.

According to Lanning, the team is almost done fixing the bugs. Work on the cutscenes and balance is complete, and the game will go to platform holders until March.

“Abe is my witness; before sunset on the last day of February 2021, you will know the official date for the simultaneous release of Oddworld: Soulstorm on PS5, PS4, and the Epic Games Store,” Lanning promised.

We will remind, as part of the ceremony of The Game Awards 2020, it became known that Oddworld: Soulstorm will not be released in 2020, as planned. The game is now expected to be released this spring.
